points besides Hong Kong including Taipo and other

places on the northern land frontier, though the

actual permits are issued at Hong Kong, Taipo

and Macao only. Special arrangements have been

made for merchants who frequently pass in and

out of Hong Kong plying their trade, whereby they

can obtain frontier passes valid for one year from

the date of issue for two dollars Hong Kong

currency, which allow the holder to make any

number of journeys into the colony during their

period of validity.
